Lili's Little Fairies- Spots & stripes

Hello my lovelies... I'm so sorry things have been a little quiet on my blog of late..I have been a busy bee.. and a lot of what I've been making, I can't share with you yet... 
but, its Thursday, and you know what that means.... yup, Lili's Little Fairies  have a new challenge...Yay! 
 This week the theme is "Spots & stripes"...

 This is one of my faves... "Walk the plank" . He is coloured with my Spectrums... the papers are my newest faves too... Sarah Walkers Nautical papers.... 

The beach theme bingo card is just fab.. that was also $1 from One Buck Wednesday.... from the pen of Jenny Bowlin. 
the dies are the "Sea Charms" from Die-namics, as is the waves die. I have matted onto kraft card, and distressed everything ...

Have you heard the news...???

Well...? have you heard the news???
I am still pinching my self, as I still can't believe it!!!
       "I am a Sugar Bowl Sweetie"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have had my heart set on being a Sweetie, since I don't know when... I have bought sooo much Sugar from Funkykits... I daren't admit... my first purchase being a set of Gorjuss girls when they first on the stamping scene... 
So, I thought I would create a card today, just to celebrate...yay! 
thank you sooo much ladies for choosing me... Mwah! xxx

The papers are MME "Sunshine" , the stamp is the Gorjuss "Bumble Bee" , I have paper pieced her dres, and coloured the rest with Spectrums.... I have used the "Precious Heart" die from Memory box, the spellbinders "Elegant Rectangle" & Marianne's Chinese rose die... the leaves are from the Die-namics wintery wreath die(I chopped it up) , the "ric-rac" is from stash, and I dropped a couple of AB beads into the roses... and dotted a couple of tiny ones on the bows.... 

I LOVE these papers... I am on the lookout for more... I only wish MME did digi's like Carta bella, Fancy pants & Echo park....

Pollycraft DT call!!

Hello my lovelies... have you heard the news???
 Pollycraft has re-opened its doors!!! totes amazeballs!! I LOVE Pollycraft images ... and even more exciting .. Paula is having a DT call!!!!!!!!!
so, a chance to colour up those yummy PC images.. old or new (Have you seen the new ones- OMG!!gorge!!) 
Now, you know I love One Buck Wednesday , and I am so glad I got this nautical papers from Sarah Walker.. yep, for $1 !
so, I teamed it up with a Pirate image from PC... and here it is...

 so, he's coloured with my Spectrums, and I got chance to use my MFT "waves" die that DD bought me for Mother's day...The sentiment is computer generated. the banner are La-La Land... 

Told you those papers were fab...!!! I just finished with a little button twine....

Happy Anniversary Wishes

Hey guys.... hows things????
 today is my folks' wedding anniversary, and I made a super quick card using those LOTV pre coloured squares.. these are such a life saver..!!!!

I have used Pink Paislee "London market " papers... these ones have been a sit & stroke paper for a long time, they are sooo gorge!!!!
Anyhoooo, here they are, matted with kraft card stock and stitched . The punch is Martha Stewart. I have cropped the image, and matted onto card... the flowers & seam binding is from stash. 

I just created a greeting on my PC to finish... and voila! 
 hope they like it...

Lili's Little Fairies- Anything but a card

Good morning my lovelies.... Have you missed me??
 Apologies for going awol... I have truly have been flat out at work... I simply haven't had time for any craftyness.. sob!
 Here is a quick creation from me for the new challenge over at Lili's Little Fairies where the new challenge is "Anything but a  card"
this is what I came up with... a wee photo frame.... 

I bought this cheap and cheerful photo frame, and painted it with acrylic paint...adding a layer of pink , and finishing it off with crackle paint finish....hopefully you can see the pink showing subtly underneath.

        

 ..  and this stamp is just adorable, and creates the perfect new baby gift. 

 I have coloured  "Bath Time " with my Spectrums, and popped it in the frame... simple really.... 

So, please pop and grab a little inspiration from the rest of the LLF dt... I often have to ponder for a while when its something "other than a card" ...

C.R.A.F.T Challenge - A Stitch in time

Hello one and all..... wahooooo...nearly there...are you ready for the long weekend???? 
I have something equally bright and cheery for you... my entry to the Sugar Nellie FB challenge - where the theme is "something for a boy". 

 I have used this super cute image, suitable for a younger boy or even new baby from the Simon & Lola range of Sugar Nellie stamps.... He is "Duck in Boots" , and he's coloured with my Speccies... 
I have used OR2,1 &GB1,for the beak..  then CT4 LY3,PP2 and LY2 for his body,TB4,IB3&2 for the boots & bib IG3-1 for the background... blending out with my blender pen...
the sentiment is computer generated, and the buttons are cut from my old fav Sizzix die... I have also used MFT die-namics scallop die and my new spellbinders A2 curved border One die.... I LOVE this die x

I have layered everything onto kraft card, distressing it in places, and stitched my layers....

Its Wednesday..,so that means.. One Buck Wednesday..!!! Get yourself over here and grab a bargain...
now.. here's a new digi for me.. I have been admiring these lovelies for a while, so finally took the plunge.. with " and got colouring her up....."Fall Love"

Now, the papers aren't digi's but Basic Grey , called Porcelain... the sentiment is TLC , and the lovely Fall Love is coloured with my Speccies... 

The pearls, gems & flowers are from stash........ I have doodled around my image freehand for that finishing touch...
 I do hope you like her... I MAY have to purchase more (wink)
